Hi J, I also admire how super confident teens are who wear what they want regardless of size.
Teens want to fully participate with their friends (herd mentality) in wearing the latest looks whether it suits them or not and I think why not? They are having so much fun experimenting. This phase is short lived and when they become independent adults it fades.
There are so many ways J to disguise a tummy. You can look amazing and your confidence will grow when you find what works for you.

Hi Emma, I love this. We are all so guilty of this.
So here’s the thing, there is always going to be something. Even as soon as you’ve bought something, there’s going to be something else.
You will never keep up and that’s the catch and why we have so much in our wardrobes.
Emma all great wardrobes start with a capsule wardrobe and you build and expand on it with your fashion items.
It’s not a question of one or the other, you need both. You need all the basics (your capsule wardrobe) plus your fashion items for a truly functional and fun wardrobe.
Happy Shopping.

Hi Elaine, you are not alone! My survey shows 55% of women struggle with putting outfits together.
Also 30% of women said confidence was an issue. Weight Gain, Menopause and Confidence are all so intertwined, you’re right, it is a vicious circle.
So Stop. Get rid of the clothes that you are holding on to that don’t fit, they serve no purpose and start buying outfits when shopping.
The no.1 reason why women struggle with styling is because they buy bits n pieces, and that’s what their wardrobe reflects and that’s the struggle.

Hi Helena, thank you for your comment.
I don’t think age appropriate is the issue, I think finding clothes that work for you, that are stylish is the issue!
It drives me crazy that so many “Older Shops” stock really poor old fashioned, fuddy duddy clothes.
As if once you hit a certain age you are put in a box not even a stylish box!!!
Helena, you may need to change it up a bit. Where you shop, change your regular go to’s so you have new options.
It is possible that some of the clothes in your wardrobe are dated and may have served their time.
Be ruthless, a well curated wardrobe will
allow you to see clearly what you have and what you need.

Hi Sonia, there are 12 basics, 6 smart, 6 casual. Will do a video on it shortly.
The 3 most common basics missing in Women’s Wardrobes are
A Great Blazer, Good Jeans and a white T Shirt. Always Invest in what you wear the most.
Thank you for following me on youtube.
I find instagram too instant, as my videos or more tutorial than fun they suit youtube better…not able to click my fingers and change into 10 outfits

Hi Cara, I see this all the time. Plus sized women are just so grateful to find something that fits.
I worked with a size 20 lady aged 25 recently who was struggling to find clothes that were age appropriate for Work and Weekends.
We were very successful in H&M and needless to say she was thrilled. So thrilled she began to look in mirrors again and was able to throw her thread-worn clothes away.
There’s no doubt it is extra work and requires a bit more creativity.
