Scarily it’s that time of year when we start to plan “Back To Work Dressing” both for the kids and ourselves.

September heralds a change of season, a change of tempo and a change of wardrobe that can be both exciting and daunting.

So this coming Season take the time to truely figure out how you ENJOY dressing.The working environment has changed dramatically in the last two years and what was necessary then may not be now.

If you are predominantly working from home then your wardrobe will be more relaxed but don’t fall into the trap of not making an effort.

I recently completed a 3 day zoom online course that ran from 6pm to 12am at night (American east coast based).So I decided to get comfy in my pjs on the couch, coffee, pen and paper at the ready to realise it was live! I had to blank myself out not to be seen which was fine but when the opportunity arose to speak I missed a lifetime opportunity because I hadn’t made the effort to be dressed.

So even though you work from home making an effort puts you in a professional mindset for whatever surprises come along.

Office based dressing can vary from uniform to suits to smart/casual and my advice would be to always look professional, both for your own “Feel good Factor” and to create the right impression of how YOU want to be viewed.Key Trends for A/W 2023

1. Platform boots and shoes
2. Maxi skirts/dresses/coats
3. Neutral colours of grey, camel, cream, brown and burgundy.

As the season progresses we will take a deep dive into the key trends to keep or pass!!!
